Only Nick is the artist and George the salesperson. A high school reunion, then a writers' convention bring then together. But it's an inheritance with a condition that causes the two men agree to a marriage of convenience.The book is fast paced, has sharp dialog, good character development and is cleanly edited so no distractions. There is no violence, no cheating and a HEA. The setting is San Francisco though location played little in the story except perhaps to both characters comfort with affection in public settings. Recommended for those who enjoy romance.

Uncover was an enjoyable book that had wonderful characters. The MC’s are George Bennett and Nick Morgan who were friends when they were younger and then drifted apart. George works at a book store and is a romantic. I loved George I could see parts of me in his character. Like the book addict and he was so sweet too. Nick is a cover artist that has been married before and badly hurt.
Ten years later they meet age at a high school reunion. Nick had not planned on going his parents were celebrating an anniversary but he got tired of all the love life grilling. Here is some of a conversation with his dad that I thought was funny. “That’s what happens when you don’t see family awhile,” Peter chucked as he fired up the grill. “Or keep up with family stuff. You barely use Facebook.” “You don’t even use Facebook,” Nice countered with a raised brow. “No, but your mother does and she passes everything along to me, so I use it by proxy,”. At the reunion, George sees Nick and working on the courage to walk over to him. Nick turns and sees George but doesn’t recognize him but thinks that he’s hot so wants to talk to him. From here events develop we see a spilled drink, a motel room, hanging out, a writers' convention, great uncle, an inheritance, a condition, a marriage of convenience, a supporting father, a ? mother (you will need to read the book), some steamy moments and more. I would recommend this book as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Years later, Nick, is celebrating his parents anniversary with family. He doesn’t have any plans to attend his High School reunion, which is happening that same night. Well he didn’t plan to until his family starts inquiring about his love life. Needing an excuse, he decided he should attend just to get his family out of his hair and who knows maybe he’ll get laid too.
George is excited to go to his High School reunion; he’s looking forward to catching up with some classmates. Also a little part of him hopes to see Nick, his friend and high school crush even though he hasn’t seen confirmation of his attending through social media.
When George catches sight of Nick and works up the nerve to go say hi. He can see in Nick’s eyes the guy doesn’t recognize him. When Nick sees George, he doesn’t recognize who he is, he just thinks the guy is hot and feels the need to go talk to him.
A spilled drink and the suggestion of hanging out; results in the two returning to George’s rented motel room. One thing leads to another and before they know it they’re all over each other. Nick has been burned before and isn’t looking or a relationship. George is a romantic and is hopeful Nick will want more than a fling.
I enjoyed this story but it felt extremely rushed. Nick and George’s relationship barely had time to develop before they committed to each other. Nick just going for it made me laugh because he was so nervous and it slipped out but they barely spent time together outside a bed for 24 hours. There was no getting to re-know each other after years apart and I missed that.
That being said I thought the chemistry between Nick and George was nice and they did sell that they were totally into each other. I’m a sucker for relationship of convenience stories and this was no exception.
There were a few grammar issues but nothing that couldn’t be ignored. For those hoping to get a glimpse of Jett and Ryan, from Debut, they do show up in the book for a bit. Though, we get more interaction between Jett and Nick since they’re friends. Also Davin, George’s friend is introduced in this book and hopefully his appearance acts as a setup for the next installment in the series.

Uncover was charming , witty and above all fun to read. George and Nick best friends in High School, both not secure enough to come out to each other and confess their feelings, drift apart in Life. A 10 yr Reunion brings them together again, and is a catalyst for what starts out as a very sexy heated night, and turns into a oft times hysterical and endearing charade. Though time has passed and both men have history between them and life experiences that shaped who they are when Nick gets the news that his great uncle left to him in his will a quarter of a million dollars, he hatchs a plan to perhaps land George for good. The play between the characters in this book was fun, and sometimes laugh out loud.But also there was very much two hearts that desperately wanted to beat at one underlying it all. I read this ARC in return for review. And Casey Ashwood delivers again in this wonderful story of finding the one you thought you lost.
