New York Times bestseller!
Last month, I was a single preschool teacher whose greatest thrill consisted of color-coding my lesson plans. That was before I learned I was a slayer. Now, it's up to me to face curse-hurling imps, vengeful demons, and any other supernatural uglies that crop up. And to top it off, a hunk of a shape-shifting griffin has invited me to Greece to meet his family.
But it's not all sun, sand, and ouzo. Someone has created a dark-magic version of me with my powers and my knowledge--and it wants to kill me and everyone I know. Of course, this evil twin doesn't have Grandma's gang of biker witches, a talking Jack Russell terrier, or an eccentric necromancer on its side. In the ultimate showdown for survival, may the best demon slayer win.

It may have been the setting or the new players, but aside from Lizzy, I loved this one. Most likely because for a good part of the book, the focus was on Dimitri and getting to know him better and see him more in his element. Lizzy did learn quite a bit about herself too and how she needs to have a little more faith in her relationship with him and not that everything is always about her. Sure, a good portion of the story is, but those secondary characters are what make this series. If not for the crazy, but loyal group of biker witches, pets that entertain, and boyfriends with the patience of a saint, her insecurity and lack of commitment would drive me crazy before I even got to the end of the book. I loved how she knew Dimitri was hers at the beginning, but as the book continued, she went back to questioning what was best for him and not LISTENING to him about what he wanted / needed. And just when I think she may start to get it, the woman backslides.Like others, I did guess early on who the villain was, but I liked how the story progressed. And although I don't like triangles, I did like Amara. She truly did embody someone who was loyal and comfortable with who she was and what she could do. I get that Lizzy is still very new at being a slayer, but she didn't come across as someone who fails at things and yet she constantly fought embracing and learning to be that slayer. Not to mention her struggle with really relying on those who support her.
So yes, that missing one star is because Lizzy drives me mad, but overall, I did enjoy this one.

A Tale of Two Demon Slayers Biker Witches Mystery Book 3 edition by Angie Fox Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Epic continuation of the Biker Witches. Things are really coming together for Lizzie. Dimitri's home, family, land and very magic is at stake. It's all up to Lizzie to figure it out, let go, and fix it. Things get rocky for the couple when his ex-intended and her brother stir the proverbial pot. There was never a dull moment. The new "pet" is a particular favorite part of mine. A must read book!
No surprised I loved this book. Angie Fox is a very talented story teller and this book and this series as she proves her amazing abilities. With her witty humor, suspense, and surprising endings you cannot figure out until you are upon them. This book is a must read. Don't let the fact it is about a demon slayer prevent you from reading it, as i almost did thinking it would be a horror book instead of a fun paranormal romance mystery. I guarantee this series will not be what you are expecting in very good way.
I want to give this book 3 1/2 stars. It was action packed and it could be really good, but there is just something holding me back. The writing bothers me a bit. Sometimes Lizzie knows Dimitri for a month... Sometimes it's two months. It's not consistent. Also why has Lizzie never asked about her father? I have a hard time understanding the relationship between Lizzie and Dimitri. they don't actually seem to talk about anything, yet he's totally head over heels for her. They never really discussed Amara. I also have a hard one following Lizzie's thought process sometimes.
I think I will give this series 1 more chance in the next book. To see if the writing and storyline pull together any more.
So far I've read the first 3 Demon Slayer books and I love them! I'm a Janet Evanovich fan and Lizzie reminds me of a magical Stephanie Plum, complete with the nutty grandma & a sexy boyfriend! I enjoy the magical creatures they encounter and all the messes they seem to get into, I root for Lizzie to learn more about her powers so she and her wacky group of family can keep on being the wonderful loving mixed up characters they are! These are great characters and I eagerly look for the newest books in the series as they come onto the market! I believe that Angie Fox has an excellent ability to make you feel as this is your family and your friends, that is a strong talent and I think these characters are going to be very popular to anyone who enjoys magical entertainment!! Great reads!!!
Angie Fox has done it again! A romantic trip to Greece with her gorgeous griffin boyfriend turns into a war zone. Lizzie has to fully accept her magic and try to stop making sense out of everything. As she overthinks the situations she misses out on critical, instinctual magic. With the help of a necromancer teacher, the Red Skulls, Dimitri, Pirate and Pirate's new pet dragon Lizzie sets out to save the Helios clan and their ancestral home.
These books just keep getting better and better. I was in love by the first chapter of the first book, now I am completely obsessed!! Once I picked the book up, I didn't put it down until I was done reading. If you haven't started this series, run don't walk, to get your copy!!
I absolutely love this series! I had read the first two and decided I wanted to read them all, they were so funny and entertaining. I downloaded them all but then got side tracked into another good series, so after many other books I am back and enjoying Angie Fox's clever writing more than ever! The story line of this innocent preschool teacher who suddenly finds herself to be the last of her kind, a magical demon slayer. With help from her long lost granny, who just happens to be a powerful witch that travels around the country on her Harley along with the rest of her coven, they begin to take care of some pretty scary evil in the world! Early on she and the witches are joined by a magnificent Greek Griffin shifter who not only proves his worth in helping them thru difficult times with all manner of supernatural beings but he and Lizzie manage to fall in love! This book (3) in the series, takes them all to Greece to meet his two sisters, who are all that is left of his family. Once there, all hell breaks loose as an evil force steals some of Lizzie's magic and is able to basically make a clone of her but one that is totally bent on
doing evil! It's a thrilling riotous ride to see how they all work to overcome this even utilizing Pirate, Lizzie's talking
Jack Russell terrier and his new found "pet" a baby Dragon!
Don't miss this series! They are simply the funniest most enjoyable read out there! Sincerely, Merrilyn
